Eight-year-old Jessica is determined to visit Grandma Pearl. Her parents are concerned that Jessica will not be able to accept her grandmother's senility. Jessica prevails and the family visits with Grandma Pearl. The visit was discouraging for Jessica, she finds out during a walk around the grounds where Grandma Pearl lives that the two of them still share a special bond.
